Three common issues when changing to a healthier nutrition approach: 1) how do I get all those vegetables in, 2) what can I have for snacks, 3) it takes time to prepare....

The purpose of this post is to offer some ideas.

1) Most important, keep items from the food list on hand. You don't need to always have a recipe. Many recipes in our "new age" have a bulk of things we don't need or are not all that healthy for us. Try using things that don't have (or need labels). With spices and oils you can mix and match and it will all be good.

2) Keep it simple. If you dont look for the sophisticated recipe and your palate adjusts to the natural flavors (away from sweets ... far away), simple, natural foods are readily available.

3) Time to prepare - typically, if number 1 and 2 above are followed, time to prepare is not an issue. Just think primal.

You wont find this at the superstore check out line... ;-)
